Drupal 7 and Drush for the win!

I made my very first Drupal website in 2007, in order to keep people interested in my Linux Install Party up to date. Afterwards, my personal webblog was based on Drupal 5 and 6. However, updating modules and the core itself was a pain in the... well, you know this place where the sun does not shine, eh?

Now, as I have to work with Drupal at work again, I dug into the features of the Drupal Shell a.k.a. Drush. And guess what? Not only installing and updating Drupal and its modules has become as easy as 1-2-3. The Drush offers a lot more very handy tools, such as user management and cache control - right from the terminal (my favourite tool).
